Job Description

$5,000 Sign-On / Referral Bonus - if referring you must list the name of the person who referred you on your application.

This position is responsible for transport and delivery of freight on time in a professional manner by driving diesel powered tractor/trailer combinations short and long distances, while complying with DOT rules and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Must have legible handwriting to properly complete logs,

General climbing, lifting, pushing and or pulling (as needed)

Will travel to area poultry farms as scheduled to deliver feed

Must be able to perform Pre & Post Trip vehicle inspection

Ability to perform and complete routine paperwork

Job Requirements

Must be 21 years old and have an active Class A, must meet DOT requirements and certifications, must have a safe driving record. General knowledge of Tyson grower farms preferred, must be able to read and follow map directions. Must be able to do basic math, read and complete company forms. Must have a minimum of 1 year OTR experience with valid CDL. Must have experience with top-heavy equipment, live haul/feed truck or log truck.

Must not own, possess, or otherwise maintain any domestic, wild or exotic fowl to be considered.

Only applicants from the following counties in Arkansas will be considered: Boone, Carroll, Newton, and Marion also Stone Co in MO.

Must be Fully Vaccinated or be willing to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19., by the 45th day of employment, this is a condition of employment.

Must not have worked for Tyson 3 times previously to be eligible to apply.
