This position is responsible for inventory of all the farms that need feed delivery, as well as running the computer to make the feed while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


In addition to making feed, this position will include dumping bags of ingredients, minimal servicing of some machinery, and some general housekeeping


Must have general computer skills prior industrial computer experience preferred. Must be willing and able to climb ladders and stairs. Must be willing to work in elevated area. Must have ability to read and write when mixing bags of feed, filling out ingredient logs, and completing batch logs. Must be able to lift 55 lbs. Must be able to push, pull, pinch, grasp, bend, and stoop. Must have basic mechanical skills. Must have good communication skills and be able to work flexible hours. Must be willing to work in extreme climate conditions from hot to cold. Must be willing to work in dusty non-toxic environment. Must have six months of continuous work history with one employer within the last twenty-four months. Must not have been terminated from any Tyson facility acquisition within the past 2 years and cannot be hired more than 3 times. Applicants who have been discharged from prior Tyson employment for the following reasons will not be considered for employment Job Abandonment, Unsatisfactory Probationary Period, Rules of Conduct, Walked Off Job, Attendance, and Insubordination. Applicants will be considered from the following counties in AL Marshall, DeKalb Etowah, Blount, Cullman, and Calhoun.
