Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for cleaning up spilled feed, assisting with loading and unloading feed trucks, Rail Cars and any other duties as assigned by management. Position will require working rotating shifts, some weekends and some holidays. TASKS: Clean and shovel out pits and scale area and sweep floors. Learn all positions to cover for vacations and absentees. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must be willing to work flexible hours. Must be able to stand and walk on concrete floors five to seven days per week for 8 to 10 hours a day. Must have the ability to lift more than 50 lbs. Must be able to use an 8 to 12 lb. sledgehammer. Must be willing to climb ladders and stairs. Must be willing to work in an elevated area. Must be willing to use a man-lift and/or elevator. Must be capable of being certified to operate receiving equipment such as forklifts, bobcats, tractors, and pallet jacks. Must be willing to participate in team efforts. Must be able to work in a climate ranging from extreme cold to extreme hot. Must also be willing to work in a dusty non-toxic environment. Must be willing to follow Mill Safety rules at all times. Must be willing to perform other job duties as assigned by management. Must have six months of continuous work history with one employer within the last twenty-four months. Must not have been terminated from any Tyson facility/acquisition within the past 6 months. Applicants who have been discharged from prior Tyson employment for the following reasons will not be considered for employment: Job Abandonment, Unsatisfactory Probationary Period, Rules of Conduct, Walked Off Job, Attendance and Insubordination.
