Provide relief duty for all assigned work areas including but not limited to coverage for scheduled days off, absences, other packaging support functions. How You Will Make Contributions That Matter * Responsible for the quality and appearance of the product. * Assist with the machine operation including but not limited to: operation, clean up and tear down of all equipment. * Operate COP systems. * Monitor cryovac machine process and ensure cheese is moving and positioned appropriately on conveyor belt. * Operate associate equipment on both wet and dry packaging. * Fill in for un- racking, bagger, cryovac, palletizer, rack washer, hauler, and/or leadhand postions. * Set up, adjust, monitor and perform general operating maintenance on lines. Document and record when work is completed. * Perform process checks as required. * Assist others to ensure successful line operations, job order fulfillment and proper completion of tasks. * Perform pre-op inspections and maintain chemical strength log. * Requires regular attendance. You Are Best Suited For The Role If You.... * High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Ability to read and understand instructions. * Proficient in use of the computer. * Must have a solid organizational, analytical problem solving and communication skills. * Follow good sanitation and housekeeping practices. * Compliance with food safety policies. * Follow GMPs and SOPs. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. * Required to manipulate, lift, and position heavy equipment. * Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel and crawl. * Must be able to work in a cool environment of less than 60 degrees F. * Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and lift and carry 26 lbs. multiple times per minute. * Requires occasional climbing of steps & safety ladders. * Requires continuous walking and standing.
